The Center for Life Ethics, part of the Transdisciplinary Research Area 4 "Individuals, Institutions and Societies" of the University of Bonn, is dedicated to analyzing and shaping life-changing dynamics.
In inter- and transdisciplinary research, teaching, and consulting, we address the changes brought about by technologization, economization, ecologization, and globalization, as well as the transformation processes associated with them.
Ethics is our bridging cross-sectional perspective.
The ethically good means respecting or promoting the flourishing, beauty and abundance of all life.
Scientists from various disciplines and artists introduce us to their work and approaches to death and we can discuss its significance for our lives with them.
