Senior Research Associate at the Center for Life Ethics, Dr. Stefan Partelow, has been appointed as a Lead Editor of the scientific journal People and Nature. His wide-ranging expertise on environmental social science, governance and sustainability topics were highlighted as central to the appointment along with his commitments to open and inclusive publishing values supporting the journals long history of showcasing scientific excellence.

People and Nature is a peer-reviewed broad-scope, open access journal publishing work from across research areas exploring relationships between humans and nature, which now receives nearly 1 million downloads per year. The journal is the newest of eight publications founded and operated by the British Ecological Society, which has over 7,000 members worldwide.
